OPES-LCEF Foundation
Opes-Lcef provides patient capital to early-stage companies whose products and services improve the lives of low-income people and create positive social and environmental impact. We were one of the first Italian vehicles to support social enterprises in the developing and emerging economies, and recently in Italy.
We also support our companies with mentorship, strategic guidance, governance, temporary management, and search for additional capital needed to scale into long-term solutions.
We support the social impact ecosystem by organizing training initiatives, “boot-camps”, for social entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, young people, innovators, and others. We actively promote private sector solutions to locally address poverty and inequality.
We deploy capital using gender and refugee lens investing.
Consorzio Nazionale CGM
Cgm is a consortium that operates in Italy through a large network of territorial consortia, social enterprises and social cooperatives.
- supports the action of local networks in responding to community needs
- fosters the development and the economic productivity of members by adopting models that are sustainable, inclusive, replicable and capable of generating opportunities in the territories.
- generates entrepreneurial spaces and places built on the values shared by the members with whom it works on the themes of regeneration, local development and protection of inland areas, innovative welfare services and technologies, social agriculture, social housing and cultural enhancement
CGM incentivizes and supports the development of its social network both through the supply of qualified and advanced business services and through the realization of impact projects that promote the development of consortia and cooperatives.
CGM offers support in project design, innovation, training and consulting applied not only to the more traditional fields of personal care (minors, the elderly, immigrants, disabled) but also to the areas of social innovation (environment, housing, technology, art and culture, tourism, labor support).
