Cottino Social Impact Campus

Cottino Social Impact Campus is the first campus in Europe exclusively dedicated to the culture of social impact as transformative element of our knowledge and skills, as individuals and organizations. Created via the philanthropic action of Fondazione Cottino, the Campus aims at generating new knowledge to develop social impact culture. National and international academics, experts, practitioners, entrepreneurs converge in a for a world-making vision for impact via the transformative action of new contents, experiences and frontier research as open knowledge to develop the world to be: sustainable, equal and inclusive.

Social Enterprise Academy

Social Enterprise Academy (SEA): is an international learning and development social enterprise, with local teams in 15 countries on five continents. SEA believes social innovators themselves are best placed to solve their own challenges around development and scaling up. SEA uses peer learning approaches, led by facilitators who are themselves social entrepreneurs. The learning is action-based, interactive and fun. We create a high support learning environment, in which participants feel able to be open and honest about their own reality. We then challenge participants to better understand themselves, how they engage with others and why their organisations are developing as they are. The outcome is transformational learning which enhances social impact.

SocialFare

SocialFare is the first Center for Social Innovation in Italy. Incubator certified by the Ministry of Economic Development, it accelerates social impact startup.
Research, community engagement, capacity building, and co-design are at the basis of our work to develop innovative solutions to contemporary societal challenges, while generating new economy. With our wide network of partner, we apply systemic design, design thinking, social finance as core methodologies to develop our impact projects. Every year SocialFare selects the best social impact entrepreneurial solutions to which it offers two distinct programs, for knowledge and business acceleration: Design Your Impact and FOUNDAMENTA.

Social Seed

Social Seed is an innovation lab for non-profit organizations and social enterprises.
We care about people, communities and organizations to make them ready for change. Our approach promotes the enhancement of talents, entrepreneurial skills, under-used organizational and territorial resources. We structure co-design labs as trial spaces in which people can act differently from daily routine. We apply new approaches to design that can help innovate and solve concrete organizational challenges. We developed a sartorial method grown from a combination of competences and design methodologies (design thinking, participatory design, ethnographic research, systemic design, economical/organizational analysis) that allows the set-up of ad-hoc paths involving beneficiaries and testing innovative solutions aiming at continuous improvement.

Tiresia

TIRESIA (Technology Innovation and REsearch for Social ImpAct) is the International Research Center promoted by the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano pursuing scientific excellence in the field of Social and Impact Innovation. TIRESIA (Technology, Innovation, and Research for Social Impact) promotes the teaching and research in the impact economy, an emerging entrepreneurial and financial paradigm including all organizational forms which are intentionally designed and managed to exert a transformative power on society. The group’s research and teaching are dedicated to understanding the structures, managerial practices, and strategies of such organizational forms, with a specific focus on the role, played by technological opportunities. TIRESIA has developed relevant knowledge and experience in terms of scientific production as well as strategically accompanying social innovators, entrepreneurs, banks, impact funds, and corporate investors.

Assifero

Created in 2003, Assifero is the Italian association of enterprises and philanthropic entities, non-profit entities of a private nature which, by their mission, use private resources – financial, real estate, intellectual and relational – for the common good. Assifero, which aims to promote a visible and effective Italian philanthropic system, is recognized as a strategic partner for humanitarian and sustainable development and is the reference point for philanthropy in Italy, associating today 160 of the main private foundations (family, corporate, and community) and other philanthropic bodies, expression of a common Italian will in which knowledge, traditions, skills and financial resources are put to good use for the sustainable development of our country and in international contexts. Assifero works to increase the circularity of information, good practices, and innovative approaches, to build critical mass together, scale models, strengthen the social impact and promote an aggregative philanthropic pole with the ability to represent, propose, collaborate, and be more effective and sustainable.

Galleria Giampaolo Abbondio

Galleria Giampaolo Abbondio, formerly Galleria PACK, was founded in 2001 in Milan and developed there until 2021, when Giampaolo Abbondio moved its exhibition venue to Todi, in the heart of Umbria.
The gallery has always been proposing a programm that covers a wide range of artistic languages and contaminations between different media, focusing on the production of emerging and more established artists, both Italian and international.
In September 2019, after nineteen years of activity, the gallery adopted its current name of Galleria Giampaolo Abbondio. In 2022, Giampaolo Abbondio also founded the Suddenthoughts publishing project with art critic Flavio Arensi, which promotes the republication of rare, out-if-catalogue and unpublished texts.

Isola Catania

Isola is an Impact Community Hub whose objective is to improve the quality of life of young Sicilians, providing opportunities for economic integration and opportunities for self-determination. The project enhances local culture and professionalism, positively opening up to international influences, to create a strong sense of belonging and a sustainable community.
