Giovanni Teneggi

Responsible for promoting community enterprises – Confcooperative Reggio Emilia
Giovanni, 53 years old, was born in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. He lives there with his family. After been engaged in vocational training and business consulting, he joined the cooperative network Confcooperative (one of the leading Association within Italian cooperative movement). He has held positions in public and private companies in the pharmaceutical, social and health and business service sectors. He was a member of the executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Emilia. Currently he is working to promote community enterprises, a model of business deeply ingrained in local communities. He has collaborated with organizations that promote local development including Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo, Fondazione della Comunità di Brescia, AICCON, Avanzi, UNCEM, SocialFare, Luiss, CREA-ReteRurale, GAL, Riabitare l’Italia and many academic research centers and universities. He has published short stories, essays and articles on welfare and social and community economy issues published by AbaoAqu (2015), Donzelli (2018/2020), Il Mulino (2019), Franco Angeli (2013, 2020), FBKpress (2021), Rubbettino (2022), among others.
